Nannette is a strong believer in the power of financial planning and its ability to transform people’s lives. That’s why she is passionate about taking a holistic approach to working with clients. She considers more than just their financial picture. While getting to know clients, she discusses their short and long-term goals, life events, life stage, and values around money. Intimately understanding our clients allows Nannette to provide the best possible financial planning guidance and sets them up to realize their financial dreams.
Rooted in her own life experiences, Nannette especially enjoys helping clients through major life transitions such as marriage, having children, divorce, career changes, relocations, and sending kids to college. She also loves to help pre-retirees and retirees confidently plan for retirement and beyond. Nannette takes an educational approach to helping clients to make financial decisions. She prides herself on explaining complex investment and financial concepts in a way that cuts through industry jargon. Clients feel comfortable asking Nannette all of their financial questions and she can demystify topics such as tax planning, employee benefits, and insurance.
Nannette has her MBA, as well as her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) certifications. She also published a book in 2019 called “Crazy College Money: Make Smart College Money Choices – Without The Crazy.” As director of planning services at Echo45 Advisors, she ensures the firm stays up to date with the latest developments and best practices in financial planning to help clients get the most out of working with Echo45 Advisors.
Nannette works remotely out of Carlsbad, CA, where she lives with her two children. Where can you find her when she’s not in the office? Nannette is likely playing a round of golf (she finally made her first hole-in-one and hopes to get her handicap down to single digits!), traveling to her daughter’s softball games, or enjoying a good book on the beach.
